On September 9, 2017, the new Hildegard of Bingen Pilgrimage Route (Hildegard von Bingen Pilgerwanderweg) leading from Idar-Oberstein to Bingen on the Rhine was officially opened at the Disibodenberg.
There ist now a Hildegard Pilgrimage Way in the historic land where Hildegard lived in the twelfth century. The local District Parliament of Bad Kreuznach was a strong supporter for this project.
As a European project, the Hildegard Way has a European domain name (www.hildegardweg.eu) and all texts of the 59 tableaux on the 140-kilometer Hildegard Way are in German in English.
This book contains the complete texts of the 59 tableaux as well as images, stories, and poems. Also included are some of Hildegard’s songs as well as new poems aber Hildegard vy Karen S.E. Stock from Canada, Colleen Kreating from Australia, an some of my own poems and artworks.
