ONLINE MEETING AND WORKSHOP
Today is the appropriate day to meet each other and discuss Hildegard von Bingen, because today is the same day of Hildegard’s official canonization in 2012 by Pope Benedictine XVI
ATTENDING were the following persons: Dr. Annette Esser; Volkhard Loebich; Jeanne Spaeth; Michael Conti and Heather Boyle; Christian H.; Sr. Margaret Broadbent; Dr. Shanon Sterringer; Karen Stock; Professor Susan Roll; Jone van Rees
The international meeting took place via Teams Microsoft and personal invitation to the members of Scivias Institute.

Introductions
Margaret: during a stay at the abbey, has followed 7 seminars and 3 guided meditations in the past, at Rochusberg
Susan: joined the conferences in 2009, 2014, 2016 and has been in the Advisory Board since the beginning of the Scivias Institute
Shanon: visited Germany 2015, went on the 2019 pilgrimage walk with Michael, visited last January 2024 & met with Annette; she brought a pilgrimage group consisting of 14 people September 2024, with some folks from the 2020 canceled group now in attendance; and she will return again
Michael and Heather met Annette in Boulder, Colorado, 2019 and 2024; she reached out to him when Hildegard Way opened 2017; Michael and Heather visited in 2022, bringing 21 pilgrims and some attended with sponsorships; and they are coming again with a group from the Hildegard House for the homeless in Tennessee
Christian: one of Annette’s colleagues at school, church organist, proofread her manuscript and upcoming autobiography; teacher English, Spanish, and Latin
Jeanne: learned about Hildegard through Beverly Kingsley; she attends Mary Mount University now in Wisconsin, editing and writing taught English
Jone: met Annette at Union Theological Seminary 1994, interested through Hildegard’s music and attended 2014 conference, helped design and build the new Scivias website
Karen: 4th year theology student; one of St. Hildegard book of poetry author; Manitoba, originally German; wrote St. Elizabeth play and added Hildegard von Bingen, presented at 2016 conference
Volkhard: he has been very active in helping Annette for a number of years now and prefers to work behind the scenes
Presentation by Annette:
- Published in 2017 the Hildegard von Bingen Pilgrimage Book
- Translated to English 2019
- Susan Roll contributed
- 10 chapters with 31 information tables
- 27 meditation tableaux with free pages to write notes
- Sr. Philippa Roth contributed 21 texts and proofread all the tableaux
- Hildegard Spricht is a separate book
- Started pilgrimage way with Bettina Dickens; working on cooperation by German and English connections
- The Pilger Pass is necessary to walk the trail
- Discussion of content and context of Hildegard and her book Scivias
The International Member Group decides to meet again next 10 May 2025 at the same time
